The hardening shop EFD Härterei Fritz Düsseldorf GmbH was acquired by BPE’s portfolio company VTN, Witten, from the Norwegian company EFD, Skien.
With the investment in EFD Härterei Fritz Düsseldorf GmbH by Härterei VTN, Witten, the intended Buy-and-Build strategy in the area of hardening services was successfully implemented. EFD is a provider of classic and inductive heat treatment (contract hardening shop) as well as consulting services in the field of technology, packaging and logistics.
